MEKA       Miniature Enthusiasts of Kingston and Area

M.E.K.A. Library

In 1999, one of our former members, Kay James, generously donated a collection of miniature books and magazine issues.

These books and magazines are currently stored in Elizabeth Read's house, where we are having our monthly meetings. They are just outside our meeting room, and are available for viewing at Club meetings, or by appointment.

There have been a number of contributions in the last few years, and the list on the website has not been updated to reflect the changes until now. Any items which did not appear on previous lists are indicated by an asterisk (*), and are displayed in blue. Many of these will have been already seen by members who have browsed the shelves.

Some additional books, which have been donated since the July 2026 meeting are marked in red.

The books are divided into two categories: books about dollhouses and miniatures, and books about references to real life items that can be used for inspiration or construction help.

The magazines have also been added to the site. Currently the magazines are only listed by title, and the issues available. Several people have donated their magazine collections, so our library has quite an extensive set of holdings. They are particularly useful if you are looking for workshop ideas! These are now displayed on their own page, and available from the sidebar.
